Kaylyn Thielens
Team support
Kaylyn Thielens is a junior advisor and trainer with a background in communication. She holds a Master’s degree in Multilingual Communication: Dutch–French–Spanish from Ghent University, for which she wrote a master’s thesis on the 2023 Spanish football crisis. During her studies, Kaylyn developed a strong foundation in strategic communication, with a particular focus on multilingual and intercultural contexts. She previously completed a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Linguistics, which has made her fluent in four languages today.
In her master’s thesis, Kaylyn analyzed how the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) and its president, Luis Rubiales, used social media for crisis communication. She examined both the content and impact of their messages, conducted a context analysis, and evaluated the crisis strategies employed. This research clearly reflects Kaylyn’s interest in crisis management and communication.
At PM, Kaylyn supports the team in crisis communication and training projects, learning how organizations can better prepare for crisis situations. As team support, she also provides assistance across the entire organization.
