Ewout De Jonckere

Ewout De Jonckere is advisor and trainer at PM. After obtaining his bachelor’s degree in Social Safety at VIVES University of Applied Sciences in Kortrijk, he started his professional career at Securitas. Over the following seven years, he progressed from mobile security officer to mobile security coordinator for West and East Flanders. In this role, he was responsible for the operational coordination of services, team management, client relations and the optimisation of internal processes.

At PM, Ewout supports organisations in strengthening their crisis preparedness. He contributes to consultancy projects, develops and delivers crisis management training programmes and designs realistic exercises for organisations across various sectors. Combining operational experience with a hands-on approach, he helps organisations prepare more effectively for crisis situations.

Ewout participated in the international Winter School Crisis Governance, where he further deepened his knowledge of crisis management and the governance of complex crisis situations. In addition, he completed specialised training in crowd management, with a particular focus on visitor flows, risk detection, human behaviour in crowded environments and evacuation preparedness.

In his spare time, Ewout enjoys staying active. He runs, plays padel and mini-football, and regularly goes scuba diving during weekends. He also attaches great importance to social connections and actively seeks opportunities to engage with others.
