Tim Van Achte, one of PM’s longest standing employees, is off the payroll and into the PM’s pool of freelancers. After having collaborated with Managing Partner Stijn Pieters for over half of their lives (20 years!) Tim has signed up for a challenging career at the ‘Foresight’ team of Digipolis, City of Ghent. Tim realises that this might leave some of his contacts with a question: what about the PM contributions and ongoing projects?
Tim: “Well, becoming part of PM’s pool of freelance consultants, I am able to continue the activities that I have come to love at PM, be it under a reduced time investment. I intend to keep up the good work: perform sentiment analysis for PM clients in need, collaborating on PM’s newest innovations (such as the Zombie Crisis Game), even working with the team on the business development side of things, … Yes, I want to witness how the PM story evolves and I am going to continue contributing to the various specialisms I’ve become notorious for after all those years. It shouldn’t stop here. Together with PM I intend to further develop the field of sentiment and perception analysis, social media and tools in crises, crisis intelligence, etc.
I want to witness how the PM story evolves and I am going to continue contributing to the various specialisms I’ve become notorious for after all those years.
After all those years it was time for a change. People that dare to identify and take a next step in life are people that I respect a lot. But as soon as I announced that I was planning to leave the company, we realised some of ‘my’ stories here are anything but finished. Leaving all of this behind was not an option. I’ve been part of the PM’s core for too long, it’s a part of me. Although I am sure that everything I have worked on is in good hands with my fantastic PM colleagues, I hope to continue to make my mark, now more than ever in the technologic side of things.”
All of us at PM wish Tim all the very best with the new challenge at the ‘Foresight’ team, city of Ghent – PM’s headquarter city – and look forward to collaborating in the future!
PM and all of its friends!
