From his position as Academic Director of the Executive PhD programme of Antwerp Management School, our Senior Partner Hugo Marynissen is invited as one of the speakers at an event in May 2018 in Antwerp: Can we actually manage a crisis? organised by Antwerp Management School.

Not only will Hugo discuss the theoretic background of crises, including the latest developments concerning fascinating theories (‘Normal Chaos’ Theory, Incubation Theory, etc.) that are highly relevant for crisis professionals. He is also sharing the stage with:

  • Belgium’s Minister of Home Affairs, Jan Jambon, lecturing about various country wide crises from his experiences in the federal government and Belgium’s national crisis coordination center.
  • Antwerp’s Chief Fire Officer, Bert Brugghemans, lecturing about a recent case in Antwerp (‘Paardenmarkt’) that involved a lot of coordinated emergency management and communication with the public.

Interested in how to prepare organisations for large scale crisis situations? Don’t miss your chance to attend this great event.
